I’ve always been a pretty active person. I was a cheerleader and played organized sports growing up and transitioned to running and step aerobics as I matured into adulthood. I eventually became a peronal trainer because I wanted to combine my passion for fitness, health and wellness into a lifelong career – a career in which I could help people transform their body, mind and soul.
My 25 years experiences have allowed me to become a super creative trainer, ensuring my clients personal needs are met while challenging them to become the best version of themselves. My mission is to provide a workout that is:

Terrie is a certified and experienced group and personal fitness instructor, coach, and nutritional consultant. She has been involved with the health and fitness industry since 1991, and an athlete since childhood. Through the years Terrie has evolved in the fitness industry starting out with teaching a few classes a week, to creating and establishing a thriving fitness community that has helped hundreds of women and men change their lives. She creates a fun and effective training environment that ensures everyone is laughing and smiling while working hard towards their personal fitness goals. Terrie embraces many of today’s fitness trends and concepts while creating routines, classes, and programs for all fitness levels and abilities that help train the body and focus the mind. Class offerings include Boot Camps, Spin Barre, Zumba, and fitness nutrition.

This is really why I became an instructor. I hated seeing people come to class and look discouraged, only to never return the next week, time and time again. I knew I could change that and make exercising fun, motivating, and not intimidating.
My philosophy inspires and motivates others to stick with it by making exercise a regular part of their lives. It’s a proven fact that being active and feeling strong and fit will give you a better chance at living to the fullest, well into your older years; and that sounds good to me.
After dancing well into her adult years, and always having a passion for fitness and good health, Marlene received a Group Ex Certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Her present focus is on teaching fitness classes in a fun, motivating environment while promoting the positive aspects of a healthy, active lifestyle at any age. Aside from her love of teaching Cardio, Muscle Conditioning, Interval and Pilates classes, she greatly enjoys teaching Barre classes because it’s a fusion of ballet AND fitness. She works as an Office Manager during the day, has been married for over 20 years to her husband Scott, and they have two children.
